You don't have to figure it out alone.
Whether you're looking for help for yourself, supporting someone you care about, or exploring options, SAIN can help you find a trustworthy place to start. Recovery looks different for everyone—and asking for help is a meaningful first step.
You are not alone: Finding help can feel overwhelming. You may not know where to start, what kind of support you need, or whether you're ready to talk to someone. That's completely okay. You are welcome to explore all the resources on this website anonymously without registering or contacting a volunteer.
About SAIN & Contact
SAIN stands for the Substance Abuse Information Network. We are an independent, volunteer-led group of peers who want to make it simpler to discover addiction recovery tools, find mental health infrastructure, and connect with someone willing to listen.
SAIN is not operated by, affiliated with, or sponsored by any employer, corporate entity, or government agency. Members participate strictly within their separate, individual capacities as peer-support volunteers.
Reaching out is completely optional. Volunteers are peers sharing lived experiences; they are not medical providers or an emergency tracking service. Please do not transmit confidential medical history or work records via text or voicemail.
